He is here!

Over the years Day Diz has gather an impressive resume. After supporting 50 CENT (G UNIT) in 2004 and headlining his very own Tour through out Asia in 2007 (Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpure), he has gone onto working with some of the biggest names in the business. His debut Mixtape „Open Heart Surgery“ features some of Germany's most noted producers, including: TAI JASON (Sido) and SCREWAHOLIC (Bushido).

Open Heart Surgery was downloaded over 10.000 times and remains a milestone in Austrian Hip Hop. On April 20th 2008 Day Diz will be releasing the sequel to his Mixtape series „Open Heart Surgery “ (OHS2). This time around Day Diz has gone international, rapping on Swedish production by none other than JIMMY LEDRAC (Looptroop, Promoe). OHS2 will be Mixed & hosted by Australians Number 1 club DJ and UMA Award winner DJ NINO BROWN. „OHS2 is just a way to kick off the new year, it's an appetiser! People are gonna see a whole new side to me when my album comes out“ says Day Diz.

Last September Day Diz spent 2 Months in the studio with Star-Producer STYALZ FUEGO (Chamillionaire, Snoop, Busta, Ja Rule, Kelis) recording his Debut album (Title TBA). The album is 90% finished and is currently being mixed in the United States by KEN LEWIS & The team at pro tools mixing (Kanye West, Usher). „At this point we are looking for the right deal for the album, it’s too good to just throw out in a rush. It will be out some time this year for sure“ – Say Day Diz.

Although Hip Hop in Austria has had a lot of trouble expanding, Day Diz’s constant hard work in releasing quality music has certainly paid off. The hardest working man in Europe has been honored by the ANA (Austrian Newcomer Award) 2008!
